Asbestos Remediation
MDS Environmental Services hold a current 3 year removal licence and are a licensed waste carrier. This enables us to provide a competent and efficient service when carrying out asbestos abatement works, including environmental cleans, encapsulation and removal of asbestos-containing materials. We work closely alongside the HSE in order to constantly maintain and improve our safety performance and procedures. All asbestos removal projects are approached, regardless of scale, in a carefully controlled manner to the highest standards in accordance with HSE guidelines and current legislation.
All asbestos removal operatives, supervisors and managers are trained as per regulation 10 of The Control Of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Individuals are regularly vetted and training standards are maintained to the current levels required, to give MDS Environmental Services confidence that we continue to maintain the highest standards.

Cornhill Exchange London
MDS undertook an asbestos refurbishment survey to ascertain the presence of asbestos containing materials on a large corporate training centre in central London. Following the survey, MDS removed and disposed of asbestos insulation board under controlled conditions was carried out on behalf of the client and in liaison with the Health and Safety Executive and City of London Authority.
Callis Yard, Woolwich, London
To carry out refurbishment surveys to ascertain the presence of asbestos containing materials on a large development site in South London consisting of numerous buildings listed and non listed. The survey was part of the enabling works to demolition for a large scale development. Following the survey MDS were instructed by the client to carry out all asbestos removal and disposal works over a 4 week period.
